The microfiber case is needed for this pillow. I only ordered 1 case at the time due to the price. I figured I could use a regular case on my pillow. The outer case of the pillow is smooth so a regular case shifts too much. The case is fitted perfectly for this pillow. I only wish the case is included with the pillow purchase. But its worth it for the perfect fit.

Cases fit my side sleeper cube pillow perfectly. The pillow has literally changed my life with improved sleep quality for me and my wife.
